Other Information:

Armagh Pipers' Club was founded in 1966 to teach and promote traditional music in the Armagh area. The Club's development over the past 38 years has made Armagh a major centre for traditional music performance, music education and publishing.

Weekly classes are attended by around 130 children and adults not only from Armagh, but also from Monaghan, Tyrone, Down, Antrim, Fermanagh and Louth. Thousands more all over the world have been introduced to the music through the Club's Tutor Books. The Club's two major promotions – The William Kennedy Piping Festival and the concert series Trad at the Trian are now established as major events on the international cultural calendar.
