We provide support for young people 'at risk' through community based alternatives to care and custody, responding to the principles and objectives of the Criminal Justice (Children) (NI) Order 1998 and the Children (NI) Order 1995. We work with young people and their families with the following objectives:

  • prevention of offending;
  • facilitating family and community integration;
  • provding family support services;
  • supporting children in need and at risk;
  • promoting social inclusion;
  • promoting good citizenship.
We provide a range of preventative and diversionary services which seek to enhance the strengths and positive attitudes of the young person and his/her family. The work programme is tailored to meet the needs of the individual referred and may include Individual Work, Systemic Family Work, Issue Based Groupwork, Activity Based Groupwork, Parents Groupwork, Social Education, Education Support and Advocacy. Age Range 10-17 years.

We have a particular interest in issues which affect young males and are currently running a Young Males Group focusing on young men's issues.
