Armagh Harpers' Association promotes and develops an appreciation of harp and traditional song. Since 1995 Armagh Harpers' Association has attracted an array of talent in harp music, song and dance. It provides a history of the life of the harp, how it declined, how it was saved and how it was re-born into the modern era of traditional music.

The music includes stately Carolan tunes, foot-tapping Irish dance tunes, original harp compositions, haunting slow airs and beautiful songs collected mainly from the North of Ireland and sung in the traditional idiom.  The enthusiastic response to the music, song and dance provided by Armagh Harpers has encouraged them to continue this endeavour. A number of the performing members are champions in their field. Patricia Daly, founder member of the association, is Senior All Ireland Fleadh Ceol, Slogadh, Oireachtas and International champion in harp music and traditional singing.

Patricia is a recent graduate of the Irish World Music Centre, University of Limerick, obtaining a Master of Arts in the Irish Traditional Music Performance. She holds both an ALCM teaching diploma and a TTCT diploma in traditional harp music and has directed the activities of Armagh Harpers' Association, maintaining weekly classes in traditional harp and singing. There are around 35 students ranging from as young as aged seven, and travelling from places such as Counties Armagh, Tyrone, Down, Monaghan, and Cavan. The students are tutored to a very high level and are guided in public performance. Patricia also provides weekly tuition at Armagh Pipers' Club.
