Information:
The Armagh Domestic Violence Partnership was founded in November 2002 to develop a local strategy aimed at increasing the population's awareness of the problem.
The Drop-In Centre is where we work in partnership to offer a one stop shop to help people experiencing Domestic Violence. The Partnership comprises the Armagh Citizens Advice Bureau, Armagh District Command Unit - the Police Services of Northern Ireland, Craigavon & Banbridge Women's Aid, and the local community, represented by the Armagh Community Safety Officer.
How we work
- We work in partnership to offer support/advice.
- Our service is free and is available to all who need it regardless of their race, sex, sexuality, culture, income or beliefs.
- We will listen.
- We will not make judgements.
- We will not blame you for the situation you are in.
- We will offer support.
- We will explain all the possible choices you may have.
- We will help you to plan what to do next.
- We will liaise with other agencies including Men's Groups.
