New Skills for YOUR COMMUNITY with
Promoting Pride in Our Rural Villages’ - an East Border Region Tourism Partnership initiative.

The East Border Region Tourism Partnership (EBRTP) comprises of the Council Districts of Ards, Armagh, Banbridge, Craigavon, Down, Louth, Monaghan and Newry & Mourne.

The EBRTP has secured Interreg IIIA funding under Priority 1: Integrated Local Development Strategies Measure 4, Rural Initiative, which is administered by the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development NI /Border Action (Ireland).

COMMUNITY TRAINING PROGRAMME
HOW WILL YOUR COMMUNITY BENEFIT?

·  Find out about village improvement
·  Identify village improvement projects for your community
·  Gain an insight into practical considerations before getting started
·  Learn how to establish and maintain planting features

HOW MUCH OF MY TIME IS REQUIRED? WHEN & WHERE?
·  1 x 4 hour workshop - Saturday 2nd February 2008
          Ballymore Open Centre, Tandragee, 10.00am to 2.00pm
·  1 x 3 hour practical skills session – Saturday 1st March 2008
          Greenacres Horticulture Unit, Southern Regional College, Newry Campus, 10.00am to 1.00pm
·  1 x 1 day best practice visit – Saturday 12th April 2008

Training delivered by the School of Hospitality & Tourism, Southern Regional College, Newry Campus with GTT Consultancy.
