 What have your members got planned for 2008?

The Ulster People's College is a specialist organisation concentrating on education and training for development.

Established in 1982 Ulster People's College programmes focus on community development to enable social and economic regeneration and on political development to enable real democracy and expression of citizenship.

The Ulster People's College has a range of courses on offer including:

  • Committee Skills
  • Communication and Assertiveness
  • Developing Facilitation Skills
  • Women and Leadership
  • Women and Communication
  • Women and Organisations
  • Understanding Communities
  • Communication and Negotiation
  • Getting to Grips with the Media
  • Understanding Peace III Funding
  • Fundraising
  • Leadership

These courses are available free of charge (funded by the Department for Employment and Learning) to groups across Northern Ireland and they can take place in your own venue for maximum convenience for you and your members or at the College.
