Community Capacity Building Programme Training
for Trainers
The Programme is targeted at community development workers and those in
statutory agencies who use community development methods, however if you are
involved in an unpaid role within your community, this Programme is also for
you.
The Programme will enable workers to develop the knowledge and skills
necessary to promote capacity building, recruit members of the local community
and deliver Rural Community Network’s Community Capacity Building Programme.
Rural Community Network developed the Community Capacity Building Programme
in 2001 and has successfully delivered over 50 programmes in rural areas across
Northern Ireland.
Participants should be working within the field of community development and
have a remit/commitment to community based capacity building.
