New Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual, Transgender Group
for Dungannon/Cookstown Area
Coalition on Sexual Orientation (CoSO) are hoping to facilitate the setting
up of a community group for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender people in the
Dungannon/Cookstown areas.
A number of rural LGBT groups have been set up around NI over the last two
years and members have reported that they enjoy attending meetings and social
events and feel that this has reduced their feelings of isolation.
A meeting with representatives from the PSNI, the local District Council and
the Health Trust has already taken place and the next step is to invite people
who would be interested in getting involved with this group to set up a meeting
to be held next month.
