Dial a Lift information session

Thursday 9th October in the Glenavon Hotel, Cookstown from 11.30am – 1pm.

The information session will provide you with details of the new Dial a Lift services which are to be rolled out across N.Ireland during 2009. The Dial a Lift services will provide transport for individuals living in our rural communities who find it difficult or are unable to use our public transport. Dial a Lift services will operate from 8am – 6pm seven days a week and will combine a range of resources to ensure that passengers have flexible travel options in rural communities.

Representative from the Department for Regional Development, Community Transport Association and the Rural Community Transport Partnerships will answer all your queries with regards membership criteria, operational issues and time frames for the roll out of these services in 2009.

At this event we will also be launching the new RNID Type Talk service available within all of the Rural Community Transport Partnerships.

This is a very exciting time within Rural Community Transport and we want to celebrate these new developments as part of Community Transport Week 2008. The aim of this event is to raise awareness of the new Dial a Lift services within our various networks and by forwarding this email and attachment you will help us achieve this.
