Our Programmes
Pathways Work Preparation Programme
Helping
people on incapacity benefits return to the workplace. Pathways Work Preparation
is a twelve-week programme and consists of 2 weeks of classroom style training
where we will equip participants with the skills needed to seek and secure
permanent employment. The remainder of the programme will consist of a ten-week
placement opportunity with a local employer in an industry sector chosen by the
participant.
New Deal for Disabled People
Programme
Providing people in receipt of Health Related Benefits with
a range of training, help and support to enable them to return to employment. We
work closely with participants to provide a range of quality training, help and
support tailored towards their individual needs. Assistance includes job search
support and advice, voluntary work options and relevant advice on benefits.
Workable NI
Helping people with disabilities
find and retain paid employment. Workable (NI) provides participants with
individual tailored support and guidance to help them find a suitable job.
Participants will have access to a job trainer or job coach support, on and off
the job training and access to expert advice. A support package is agreed
between the participant, the employer and ourselves for a two year period and
can be extended depending on their individual needs.
STEP (Skills Training for Employment
Progression)
Providing people with disabilities or health conditions
the opportunity to gain employment skills and qualifications. The programme
offers up to a six month placement with a local employer where we will assist
the participant in gaining the relevant skills and training for the job role.
Participants will benefit from accredited training opportunities, skills
acquisition, job match and in-work support services necessary to gain and
sustain paid employment.
