Contact Youth were also awarded the Lifeline contract to a provide a crisis response/suicide prevention helpline and face to face therapy services to the entire NI population.

Lifeline is available to anyone, of any age who is in crisis or despair.  Lifeline is a freephone service from all mobile and landlines on 0808 808 8000. Lifeline provides crisis response telephone counselling, face to face counselling close to where you live, in addition to befriending, mentoring and complimentary therapies.

As part of Lifeline, Contact Youth provides the rapid response counselling service available to all under 25s who may be actively suicidal or self-harming. This service is also open to all young people indirectly affected by suicide or experiencing crisis.  All referrals for counselling come through Lifeline to ensure a swift response, within seven days, in the community.  Young people are offered 6 sessions at a site as close to home as possible.

I am Contact Youth’s Lifeline Community Counsellor in the Armagh, Portadown, Craigavon & Lurgan areas.

I am available to follow up on enquiries or discuss referral to Lifeline. Just call Contact Youth’s regional office in Armagh on: 028 37 523161.
