The Foundation will host two ceremonies this year for all those who have been
bereaved by suicide.
Light refreshments will be provided on arrival and the night will be
enhanced by musical interludes from Clonmore Choir, Malachi Cush and Armagh Old
Boys Silver Band and representatives from all the main churches will be in
attendance.
During the ceremony itself, all those present will be given the opportunity
to light a candle in memory of their loved one. There will be adequate time set
aside for reflection during this sensitive event and messages can be placed on
the Christmas tree. Ivan Little, patron of the Charity, will be master of
ceremony with various guest speakers in attendance from government and the local
district council along with John Mooney representing the Lions Feather
project.Protect life Community Development workers, representatives from the
Niamh Louise Foundation and counselling professionals will also be present.
We hope anyone bereaved or affected by suicide will gain some comfort and
hope from the night as we approach Christmas.
