Bridging Differences: Building a Peaceful Future

July 28-August 2, 2009
Belfast, Northern Ireland

Join young citizen diplomats from around the world in Belfast, Northern Ireland and learn what it means to be a global citizen in an ever changing world!

In Belfast, youth delegates will:

  • Meet young people from around the world.
  • Develop ideas for creating a better future by working together with students from multiple international perspectives through interactive simulations and discussions involving.
  • Gain tangible leadership skills.
  • Learn how to make the Sister Cities International mission of Peace through People a reality.
  • Explore Belfast's rich history and culture through a city tour and excursions.

Registration and Logistics
Participants must be between 15-18 years of age (The conference is open to all high school students and recent graduates). Participants do not need chaperones to attend.

Registration Fee is $500. Includes:

  • Lodging
  • Meals
  • Daily program and activities
  • Receptions
  • Formal dinner and dance
  • Transportation and entry fees for off site activities

    * The registration fee does not include: airfare, transportation to and from the airport, spending money
